  1. REMINDERPRO HELP: GROUPS

  3. ReminderPro allows you categorize reminders into groups.
  4.  
  5. The Groups window, titled 窶彝eminder Groups窶, shows you the list of groups. It also allows you to create additional groups, rename them, or delete them. You can create as many groups as you wish up to a maximum of 100.

  7. ReminderPro is shipped with some sample groups. You can rename them, or delete them.

  9. There is one group, called the 窶廨eneral Group窶, which is built into ReminderPro. This group appears in bold text in the Groups window. You cannot delete or rename this group.

  11. Creating a new group

  13. Click 窶廸ew Group窶 in the Groups window to create a new group. You will be asked for a name for the group. The group name must be unique in that two groups cannot have the same name. The group name can be up to 63 characters long.

  15. Deleting a group

  17. To delete a group, simply select it in the Groups window and then do one of the following:
  18. 窶｢ Hit the delete key.
  19. 窶｢ Click the trash icon in the Groups window.
  20. 窶｢ Select 窶廚lear窶 from the 窶廢dit窶 menu.

  22. Whenever you delete a group, ReminderPro asks you to confirm the deletion. To bypass this confirmation, hold down the option key down and then delete the group. Note that you cannot delete the General Group.

  24. Renaming a group

  26. You can change the name of any group you create. To do so, select the group and click 窶彝ename Group窶. Alternatively, simply double-click on the group name. You will be asked to supply a new name for the group. A group name can be up to 63 characters long.

  28. Note that you cannot change the name of the General Group.

  30. Groups window color and font

  32. You can change the color and font of the names of groups appearing in the list in the Groups window.

  34. To change the color, click the color button. To revert to the default color used by ReminderPro, hold the option key down while clicking the color button.

  36. To change the font, click the font button. To revert to the default font used by ReminderPro, hold the option key down while clicking the font button.
